The Skating Club of Southern Connecticut was established in 1941 with much the same philosophies and ideals fostered by its current Board of Directors.
 

Our goal is to uphold those invaluable life lessons cultivated through the self-discipline and dedication required for proper sports training, the spirit of good sportsmanship honed on the field of competition, and the sense of camaraderie enjoyed through cooperative teamwork on Club projects.
